Cummings Cove Charity
Pickleball Tournament
June 5-7, 2026
Cheers to 5 Years!
Celebrating Five Years of Pickleball with Purpose
The Cummings Cove Charity Pickleball Tournament was created with a simple goal: bring the pickleball community together for great competition and a great cause. Five years later, that mission is stronger than ever.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Cummings Cove in beautiful Western North Carolina, this annual tournament blends high energy match play with the warmth of a close knit community. Players of all levels come together to compete, connect, and give back, proving that sport can be both fun and meaningful.
We are proud of what this tournament has become and excited for what is ahead.
OUR 2026 CHARITY
Veterans Healing Farm
Mills River, NC
The Veterans Healing Farm, a 501c3 nonprofit in its 13th year, is dedicated to improving the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our nation’s Veterans and their families. Our ultimate goal is to end Veteran suicide. Located in Mills River, NC, we focus on non-pharmaceutical mental health interventions for our Veteran community. It’s not unusual for Veterans to feel isolated when returning to civilian life, so the VHF fosters an intentional community where Veterans and their families can feel more connected with others who share their culture and understand and support their challenges.
The VHF is run by Veterans and volunteers dedicated to three main program areas: agritherapy, workshops, and events. Agritherapy includes our produce, flowers, medicinal herbs, and tomato gardens, with everything grown donated to Veterans and other organizations in need. Our workshops offer hands-on therapies and therapeutic activities like equine therapy, canine therapy, music therapy, art therapy, neurofeedback therapy, vegetable canning, medicinal herb use, jam making, blacksmithing, and dozens more. Events are Veteran-centered, featuring our Resource Fair, fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, ballgames, live music, and a variety of traditional therapies and nature-based outings.
"The name of the nonprofit speaks for itself-the Veterans HEALING Farm. The active and passive verb to heal. Volunteering for various projects at the Farm is therapy in and of itself. Giving back to camaraderie, community, connection with the present moment, being outside in nature and a holistic emphasis on how to nourish the whole body, mind, and spirit. Healing happens with in the community, not in isolation."- T.A.PsyD.
